Cancellation & Refund Policy

Participant Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the training provider.

  • A full refund will be issued for cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled course date.

  • Participants may choose to register for a course of equal or lesser value instead of cancelling, up to 2 days before the course begins.

  • Cancellations received within 7 days of the start date are eligible for a 50% refund if requested before course begins.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the course begins, including for non-attendance or incomplete participation. When available, registration may be moved to another date.

  • Registrations may be transferred to another person prior to the start date with written notice.

Course Cancellations by Provider

  • The training provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • In the event of a cancellation by the provider, participants will be offered the option to transfer to a future session or receive a full refund.

Online Course Access

  • For self-paced online courses, refunds are only available prior to course access. Once login credentials have been issued or course materials accessed, no refunds will be granted.

Technical Issues

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technology and internet access to complete online courses. Refunds will not be issued due to individual technical difficulties.

Non-Discrimination

  • The training provider does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in administration of its educational programs.

Attendance & Participation Policy

Participation in this training is essential for meeting certification board requirements and fostering a meaningful, interactive learning environment. To ensure a high-quality experience for all participants the following expectations apply:

1. Full Attendance Is Required

  • Attendance at all scheduled sessions is mandatory to receive credit for completion. This applies to both single-day and multi-day courses.

  • Missed sessions, late arrivals, or early departures may result in ineligibility for course credit, as determined by the certification board.

  • Please plan your schedule to ensure full attendance.

2. Camera Use Is Required

To promote engagement and connection:

  • Cameras must remain on for the entire training, except during designated breaks.

  • Participants must be visible on screen and actively engaged.

  • If a temporary technical issue occurs (e.g., internet instability or camera malfunction), notify the trainer immediately via chat.

3. Be On Time

  • Timeliness supports the flow of the training and fairness to all participants.

  • Log in 15 minutes early each day to test audio, video, and connection.

  • Participants who arrive significantly late may not be admitted or may not receive credit for the day.

4. No Participation From a Vehicle

For safety and engagement reasons:

  • Participation from a moving or parked vehicle is not permitted, even with hands-free or stationary setups.

  • Join from a stable, distraction-free environment that supports full participation.

  • Participants joining from a vehicle will be asked to disconnect until they are in an appropriate location.

5. Requests for Schedule Adjustments

  • While unexpected events occur, the certification board’s strict attendance policies limit flexibility.

  • Requests for schedule changes, partial attendance, or missed time must be made in advance and will only be considered for urgent, unavoidable circumstances.

  • Approval is not guaranteed and should be viewed as an exception.

  • Last-minute requests are strongly discouraged unless truly emergent.

6. Active Participation Expectations

Engaged participation enhances learning for everyone. Participants are expected to:

  • Contribute to discussions, group work, and reflective activities.

  • Use chat and audio appropriately.

  • Refrain from multitasking, side work, or unrelated conversations.

7. Commitment to a Professional Virtual Environment

Please ensure your environment supports learning:

  • Quiet space with minimal background distractions.

  • Professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.

8. Commitment to Non-Discrimination

The training provider does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in the administration of its educational programs. All participants are expected to engage respectfully and uphold a non-discriminatory environment.
